Introduction & Exterior
Built as part of a gated private complex of four executive detached homes in Four Oaks, this remarkable family home will prove extremely popular to buyers seeking a vast home with lots of space both inside and out, that is ready to move into. The property is accessed from Crown Lane via a long, tree-lined private drive secluded between two homes on the street, that culminates at a large electronic gate with intercom access. Each owner has a remote fob to control the gate. This opens to the complex and the property is positioned in the far-right corner.
The block-paved driveway to the home is to the left of the house where there is an abundance of parking available for multiple cars. The driveway precedes an integral double garage that has a wide electronic door to enter, again with a fob to control. Viewers will enter the home to begin the internal viewing at the front of the house, where there is a block-paved path between a lawn with gravel edging.
To the left of the garage is a secure gated passage that leads round to the rear garden. The garden is mainly a vast expanse of lawn, with tall trees and wooden fencing to the boundaries to maintain privacy. There is an area of raised decking erected around the exit from the dining area bay window.
Ground Floor
Viewers enter the home into an impressively large hallway that has a straight staircase to the first floor to the right-hand side that features a handy storage cupboard underneath. Wood-effect laminate flooring is laid underfoot as the hallway angles to the left where it becomes a corridor that ends at the personnel door to the double garage. The double garage houses the gas central heating boiler, which is mounted to the rear wall and feeds two large tanks within the first floor airing cupboard. Just before the door to the garage is a door to a guest WC that is large enough to have an entire bathroom suite fitted if desired. At present it is an open space with a toilet, sink and towel rail.
At the front of the house are two remarkable reception rooms on either side of the hallway that each have a wide bowed window to the front that allow plenty of natural light. At present both are used as family sitting rooms. The main lounge is to the right and has a set of glass panelled double doors that open through to the kitchen, which is also accessed from the hallway.
The kitchen is arguably the most impressive room in the house and certainly the largest. It features a large, fitted suite to the left of the room that includes an island unit and also features a range oven that will remain as part of the sale. The kitchen suite has hi-gloss cream facias and granite worktops, with the island unit having a solid wooden worktop. To the right of the room is opens out to a huge open area for a family dining table that continues to a deep recess / bay that acts as a garden room with windows in two aspects and French doors opening to the garden decking.
A corridor to the left of the kitchen has a large storage cupboard followed by a door opening into a large utility room. The utility room has a suite fitted to the left and rear walls that have lots of work surface space on top and a sink with drainer, along with an integrated washing machine. At the end of the corridor from the kitchen is an exit door to the rear garden.
First Floor
Viewers arrive at the landing which has an almost identical layout to that of the hallway below. Near to the top of the staircase is a large store cupboard similar to that in the kitchen corridor, a further example of the great storage available in this home.
The first floor comprises of five double bedrooms, two with an en suite bath or shower room, and a family shower room. The two bedrooms with en suites are bedrooms two and three and these both have a range of fitted wardrobes before moving through to the en suites. Bedroom two is the larger bedroom, although bedroom three has the more impressive en suite as that one has a bath with shower over, two wash basins atop cabinets, shaving point, and a chrome heated towel rail. The en suite to bedroom two has a shower cubicle, toilet, wash basin atop a cabinet, shaving point and a chrome heated towel rail.
Both bedrooms at the front of the house (bedrooms two and five) have bowed windows matching those in the two reception rooms below. Bedroom four is positioned over the double garage and shares the same footprint. It has a sloped ceiling but that only restricts head height at the very edges and a window overlooking the driveway. Bedroom six is at the rear left and is just a large open bedroom with a window overlooking the rear garden.
The family bathroom has a magnificent suite that includes both a long bathtub and a double shower cubicle. These are supported by a wash basin with cabinet, toilet, shaving point, and a tall chrome heated towel radiator. As with the other suites, there is tiling to the floor and splashback areas. Near to the entrance to the bathroom is a deep cupboard that houses two large water tanks to supply that central heating and hot water systems.
Second Floor
At the top of the second staircase is a short landing with a door either side to access bedrooms one and seven. Bedroom seven to the right is currently used as an open wardrobe by the current owner, hence not being pictured. It features two rows of built in wardrobes and two skylights in the rear roofline to provide natural light.
Bedroom one is a fabulous bedroom that features a turret-style bay window at the front and a recess to the rear right, where there is an access door to the eaves storage. At the far left of the room is a door to access the best en suite in the house. This complete bathroom has a long, curved jacuzzi bathtub at the rear of the room that is positioned under a skylight, and a walk-in shower with glass screens and door to enter. The remaining suite features a double wash basin, shaving point and two chrome heated towel rails on either side of the door. Again, there is tiling to floor and splashback areas.
NB - ROOM SIZES ARE SHOWN AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE.
