Seller Insight:
What is your favourite room of the house and why?
Our favourite room of the house is the open plan kitchen and family space with views out across Poulton Hill. This room is the heart of the home, where the family gathers to cook, eat, and spend quality time together. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee while watching the sunrise or to unwind in the evening with a glass of wine as the sun sets over the horizon.
The kitchen is equipped with high end appliances and ample counter space, making it a joy to prepare meals and entertain guests.
Who do you think would be the next ideal owner?
We would say someone who values both functionality and aesthetics. Perhaps a young family looking to settle down in a welcoming community with plenty of room to grow. Or maybe retirees who appreciate the ease of single-level living and want to enjoy the serene views with the easy walk into town. Ultimately, the ideal owner would be someone who can appreciate the versatility and beauty that this home has to offer, making it their own and creating new memories within its walls.
What do you love most about the house and why?
One of the most appealing aspects of the house is its adaptable layout, which can easily accommodate a variety of lifestyles and needs. The open plan kitchen and family space provide a central hub for daily activities, whether it's cooking meals, relaxing with family, or entertaining guests. This fluid layout not only fosters a sense of togetherness but also allows for seamless transition between different areas of the home.
In summary, what we love most about the house is its ability to cater to diverse lifestyles and preferences, thanks to its space, its views and all within reach of town.
What do you love about the local community?
Living in Marlborough, offers a multitude of delights. One of the things we love most is the town's rich history and picturesque charm. Wandering through the streets, you can't help but feel transported back in time with its beautiful Georgian buildings and quaint streets lined with independent shops and cafes.
The surrounding countryside is another highlight, with its rolling hills, lush greenery, and breathtaking views. It's a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, offering countless opportunities for hiking, cycling, and exploring the natural beauty of the area.
Overall, living in Marlborough combines the best of both worlds – the tranquillity of rural living with the convenience of a thriving market town. It's a place where history, natural beauty, and community come together to create a truly special place to call home.
How easy is it to commute from here?
For those commuting by car, Marlborough is well-connected by road networks, with the A4 providing access to nearby towns like Swindon, Hungerford, and Newbury. Additionally, the M4 motorway is within easy reach, offering direct routes to Bristol, Reading and Heathrow.
Train travel is another option, although Marlborough itself doesn't have a train station nearby towns like Pewsey and Swindon have great services that we've often used to get into London for example in as little as one hour.
