DESCRIPTION
This site offers two possibilities of use, ranging from demolishing the existing property and building one large contemporary four-bedroom home with incredible coastal views to alternatively retaining and refurbishing the existing chalet bungalow and building another smaller 3-bedroom stylish property with its own garden and parking adjacent to the bungalow.
Option one would create the dream home, sitting in an elevated position well back on the plot with a generous landscaped garden, private parking with an outdoor kitchen, large entertaining deck and a spa swimming pool. Finished in brick, flint and render with green credentials like the sedum roof and solar panels, it is clear that a great deal of thought has gone into the design, with open plan first floor living and large expanses of glazing leading out to a full width balcony that looks straight out over the sea.
The interior would allow four double bedrooms, three of which would have en suite facilities, many practical considerations include an "off the beach" store, drying room and there is even a cinema room within the plans.
Option two allows for the renovation of High Lee, where the existing layout could be reversed to allow three ground floor bedrooms and a bathroom, with an open plan kitchen/dining family room on the first floor to make the most of retained sea views.
The second phase would be the construction of a new 3-bedroom house with interiors of equally high specification, with open plan living on the first floor leading out to partial wraparound balcony with glass balustrades. And ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms. This planning has been granted in perpetuity and whilst the house is partially in front of High Lee both properties retain great sea views.
