Description
Unlisted and re-thatched in August 2024, Summerlea is a pretty brick and predominantly thatched cottage which has been extended to the rear with a colour washed brick elevations under a tiled roof. Although it is in need of some updating, it has sensibly configured accommodation with scope (subject to appropriate consents) to reconfigure. Options would include opening the hall/study into the dining room or alternatively the dining room into bedroom 4/study. On the first floor all the bedrooms are well proportioned doubles; the principle bedroom with an en-suite shower room, overlooks the pretty garden which lies to the rear of the cottage.
The property is approached off the lane onto a gravel drive which leads to the double garage with a gravelled forecourt. The majority of the garden lies to the rear and side of Summerlea and is well screened with tall hedging. Paving extends along the rear faade with steps leading to the garden which is principally to lawn flanked by well stocked flower and shrub borders. There is a Well, timber shed and greenhouse. The garden provides a delightful back drop to the cottage.
